Several Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kingston Baez, who scored 21 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. Kevin Edou was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Cypress Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Colonial, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
