
Dwayne Bacon will be tough to leave out of the McDonald's All-American Game after four 30-point performances in five days on the biggest weekend of the high school basketball season.

Next Wednesday will be a big one for some of the nation's best high school senior boys basketball players.
The McDonald's All-American Game will pick 24 standouts from its expansive list of over 800 nominees (Jan. 28, 6 p.m. ET, ESPNU) to participate in high school basketball's premier postseason showcase.
The 2015 game will be held April 1 at the United Center in Chicago. Past participants include Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Shaquille O'Neal.
A little over half of the selections will be relative no-brainers – players like
Ben Simmons,
Jaylen Brown and
Malik Newman can start making plans to be in the Windy City now. Committee chairman Morgan Wootten will have his hands full with the remaining eight or nine spots and the announcement is sure to set off a social media firestorm.
