It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Plantation Colonels can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Bengals on the road and fell 53-14. Plantation's loss continues an unfortunate trend for the squad, making it four in a row.
Piper's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Catalina Robilio, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Harmony Harris, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Plantation's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Piper, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.
Plantation does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Piper will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Panthers on February 7th. Dillard presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bengals in Florida (the Panthers are ranked 69th, while the Bengals are ranked 390th).
