East Hardy is 8-2 against Tygarts Valley since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The East Hardy Cougars will host the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. East Hardy will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

East Hardy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They breezed past Pocahontas County to the tune of 92-33. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Tygarts Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They took down Paw Paw 78-60 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

East Hardy better keep an eye on Jacob Wamsley. He was instrumental in Tygarts Valley's win, dropping a double-double with 30 points and 15 rebounds. They are 8-3 when Wamsley posts eight or more boards, but 5-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Ian Harris, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 11 points and seven rebounds.

Tygarts Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Paw Paw only three assists.

East Hardy pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.2 points. As for Tygarts Valley, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

East Hardy was able to grind out a solid victory over Tygarts Valley in their previous meeting back in February, winning 49-37. Will East Hardy repeat their success, or does Tygarts Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
