John Ehret has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Riverdale Rebels at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in John Ehret's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests.
Last Thursday, John Ehret didn't have too much trouble with Livingston Collegiate Academy at home as they won 55-41.
Chase Jones and Ashton Rabathaly were among the main playmakers for John Ehret as the former scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and the latter scored nine points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was frederick moffett, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Riverdale's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 62-48 to Frederick A. Douglass.
John Ehret's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Riverdale, they bumped their record down to 2-11 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
John Ehret took their win against Riverdale when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 91-70. The rematch might be a little tougher for John Ehret since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
