Mansfield gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 14-0 margin over the Magazine Rattlers. The Tigers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 24 straight dating back to last season.
Kamryn Infalt was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Infalt was also big at the plate, scoring four runs while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Miley Clopton was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Two bases. Ambria Whittaker was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
