They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 64-42 walloping at the hands of Redlands Adventist Academy. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Livingstone Adventist Academy came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 254th in Oregon, while Redlands Adventist Academy is ranked 743rd in California).
Redlands Adventist Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Micah Brooks, who scored eight points along with 17 rebounds and two blocks. Brooks hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 13 straight games. Another player making a difference was Aidan Calhoun, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists.
Livingstone Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Redlands Adventist Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
Livingstone Adventist Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. St. Paul has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Redlands Adventist Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Milo Adventist Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
