Meanwhile, Waverly had just enough and edged Westfall out 3-2 on Monday.

Caris Risner had a dynamite game for Waverly, getting 24 digs. Risner is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in the last four games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sidney Johnson, who had 21 digs.
Minford's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Waverly, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9.
