It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Morrisville Bulldogs can now relate to. They took a serious blow against Lackawanna Trail on Friday, falling 47-6. While losing is never fun, Morrisville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 524th, while Lackawanna Trail is ranked 148th).
Ky?iere Rankins threw for 116 yards and a touchdown on only nine passes. Jovan Rivera was his top target, picking up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Raymond Holman rushed for 92 yards.
Morrisville's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Lackawanna Trail, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Morrisville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lackawanna Trail will take on Minersville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Minersville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
