They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 57-24 win over Victory Baptist Academy. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-7.
Leading Mercer Christian Academy to victory were Kayley Trump and Ella Botts. Trump scored 13 points along with six steals and five rebounds, while Botts dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten steals. Botts also pulled down eight rebounds for the first time this season. Karis Trump was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Mercer Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Victory Baptist Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-12.
