 Despite the  loss, Harmony Science Academy had strong showings from  Leilani Magalde, who  had 14  digs, and  Genesis Escarsega, who  had 12  digs, three  aces,  and two  kills.
 Even though they lost, Harmony Science Academy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least nine  aces in four consecutive  contests.
 Meanwhile, Irvin had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Panthers.
 Irvin was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-19, 24-26,  25-20.
 Harmony Science Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Irvin, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 12 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record  this season.
