The Harrah Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Byng Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Harrah took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They never let McLoud get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted against the Redskins since March 9, 2021.

Joey Mclaughlin made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Harrah: the team is 8-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-10 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cash Flint, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Owens, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Harrah always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McLoud only posted an OBP of .125.
Meanwhile, Byng put another one in the bag last Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Pauls Valley with a sharp 13-1 victory.
Byng's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Harrah, their record is now 15-12.
Harrah came out on top in a nail-biter against Byng when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
