The Gadsden County Jaguars can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They put the hurt on Taylor County with a sharp 44-22 victory. The victory was just what Gadsden County needed coming off of a 55-31 loss in their prior contest.
Despite the loss, Taylor County still got an impressive performance from LeeAsia Johnson, who scored 15 points. Johnson scored a full 68.2% of Taylor County's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Gadsden County's win bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Taylor County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gadsden County will challenge Wakulla at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Wakulla focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday. Taylor County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against North Florida Christian at 5:30 p.m. on December 5th.
