Cliffside Park found their leader in underclassman Thomas Calabrese, who scored 12 points. Calabrese set a new season high mark in steals with two. Philip Lukin was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Hackettstown's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Cliffside Park, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hackettstown will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Wallkill Valley at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Wallkill Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 290th, while Hackettstown is ranked 78th). As for Cliffside Park, they will head out on the road to face off against Dwight Morrow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
