Aedan Mccarthy's Big Game Leads Bluffton over Colleton County
Starting off the list is Bluffton's Aedan Mccarthy, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mccarthy threw for 276 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 56 yards.
The win was the third in a row for Bluffton, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Mccarthy will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Bishop England on Friday.

Big Game from Mahoney As Bishop England Won 31-14
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Quinn Mahoney stepped things up a notch to give Bishop England the 'W'. Mahoney was unstoppable, throwing for 192 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 45 yards.
Bishop England pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Mahoney and Bishop England will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bluffton at 7:30 p.m.

Carnell Warren Makes It Two for Bluffton
Another Bluffton player making an appearance on this list is Carnell Warren. He picked up 122 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 68 yards.
Colleton County had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Warren it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Warren saw the Cougars), he picked up 131 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Jacobi Saunders produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Bluffton to the win on Friday. Saunders forced two fumbles and made 11 total tackles (1.0 for loss). Saunders is crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season.
This season, Saunders has averaged 7.7 total tackles per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 1.29 total tackles per game.
