Bryson Brown Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Milton had to settle for second even though Bryson Brown put up the best numbers he has all season. Brown picked up 184 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 72 yards.
Milton is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8. Brown and Milton will be playing at home against Niceville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Johnny Lewis Jr Has Career Rushing Day
On Friday, Niceville got the W thanks in part to Johnny Lewis Jr playing the best football he has all season. Lewis Jr rushed for 197 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Niceville's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Lewis Jr and Niceville will venture away from home to face off against Milton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Stomps Posts Huge Game in 48-20 Loss
Gulf Breeze was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Brock Stomps did his best to prevent it. Stomps was unstoppable, throwing for 286 yards and three touchdowns.
Gulf Breeze's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. Stomps and Gulf Breeze will stay at home for another week and welcome Mosley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Mosley Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Sammy Freitas
Sammy Freitas was instrumental in extending Mosley's winning streak to eight on Friday. Arnold had no answer to Freitas as he threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns while completing 92.3% of his passes.
Freitas must have Arnold's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Freitas saw the Marlins), he threw for 139 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
