The Red Mesa Redskins will stay at home for another game and welcome the Seligman Antelopes at 4:30 p.m. on December 20th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Red Mesa earned a 56-46 victory over Music Mountain. The victory was just what Red Mesa needed coming off of a 86-45 loss in their prior contest.
Red Mesa's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jerwin Begay, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Begay pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonah Herbert, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Seligman strolled past St. Michael with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 54-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Seligman.
Red Mesa's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6. As for Seligman, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
