III Section II recap Oct. 30, 2012
Flagstaff extended the longest winning streak in III Section II this week by beating Page, 63-6. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Flagstaff took down the Sand Devils 63-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Cody Ashbrook made the biggest impact on defense this week as Coconino bested Chino Valley. The 6-foot-1 senior recorded one fumble and grabbed one sack.
Brandon Murphy was the best wideout in the league this week as Liberty defeated Cactus. Murphy racked up six receptions for 110 yards. Tanner Wills helped Liberty's passing attack out by catching six balls for 88 yards.
Keenan White put up the best numbers through the air as Mohave lost to River Valley. He finished with a total of 14 completions for 177 yards and three touchdowns. White's favorite target this week was Kevin Holt, who caught four passes for 68 yards.
Mark Dogbah was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 333 yards on 10 carries as Greenway topped the Cobras. Teammate Trevor Sciotto added to the ground attack by rushing for 40 yards.
6-foot-3 quarterback Tyler Rogers of Liberty is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2373. He has also thrown 25 touchdowns. On the ground, the Demons' Dogbah has rushed for 2342 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Elroy Masters. The Sunrise Mountain star has 44 catches for 1118 yards.
Greenway led the league in scoring this week after putting up 72 points on Moon Valley. Dogbah in the win.
