Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for Wiley, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-11-1.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Otis beat the Panthers by a score of 18-1 later that day.
