The Treutlen Vikings will challenge the Tattnall County Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Treutlen has three straight victories, Tattnall County has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Jayden Rogers made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. What's more, she posted two strikeouts, the most she's had since back in August. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played.
In other batting news, Ruthie Blair was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Ella Roberson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
Treutlen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Tattnall County came up short against Ware County on Tuesday, falling 16-7.
Tattnall County's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Treutlen, their victory bumped their record up to 16-4.
