Blayne Baratti Butler made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Silver Stage: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Mateo Garcia, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, West Wendover waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Longhorns. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Markus Gonzalez and Aidien Rodriguez were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Gonzalez pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Rodriguez struck out 13 batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2025. At the plate, Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI, while Rodriguez got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Rodriguez is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Danny Soriano, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Angel Ramirez, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs.
West Wendover's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Silver Stage, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.
