Avi West was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points for Northwest Christian School. Another player making a difference was Titus Spuler, who scored ten points.
Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Northwest Christian School, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Gorillas at 5:00 p.m. on February 7th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Washington (Davenport is ranked 174th, while the Broncos are ranked 182nd). As for Northwest Christian School, they will head out on the road to challenge the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Colfax is on a 12-game streak of home wins, the Crusaders a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
