After two games on the road, Burns is heading back home. They will take on the Prairie City Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Prairie City took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Burns, who comes in off a win.
Burns stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Riverside 48-16 on the road. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Burns had established a 26 point advantage.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-7, which was the final score in Prairie City's tilt against the Mustangs last Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Prairie City has scored all season.
Burns is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Prairie City, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Burns strolled past the Panthers when the teams last played back in December of 2017 by a score of 57-38. Does Burns have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
