After a string of three wins, Granbury's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 75-66 to the Southwest Raiders. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (56), the Pirates still had to take the loss.

Southwest's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kordon Henderson, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine assists. Those 20 points gave Henderson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dakarii Hudson, who went 8 of 10 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds.

Granbury's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-10. As for Southwest, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Granbury wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-58 loss against Weatherford on the 14th. As for Southwest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-29 victory against Henrietta on the 14th.
