Basketball Recap: Cornerstone Prep Academy Comes Up Short

If Cornerstone Prep Academy was feeling good fresh off their 81-59 takedown of North Kissimmee Christian on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars fell 83-75 to The King's Academy Knights on Friday. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Cornerstone Prep Academy lost, don't look at Seth Bledsoe. Despite the final result, he shot 50% from the field on his way to 41 points and seven rebounds. Bledsoe's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 23 points. Eli Stone was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

Cornerstone Prep Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for The King's Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
