 On South El Monte's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jazmine Leyva, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 Even though they lost, South El Monte  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Providence struck out six times.
 Providence's win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 23-3. As for South El Monte, their defeat  ended  a  12-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 21-6-2.
 Providence will challenge Valley Christian at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Providence is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7  runs per game  this season. South El Monte does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
