It was another big night for Brody Boyd, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Brecken Phillips was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.
Sylva Bay Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Prentiss Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Sylva Bay Academy will head out on the road to face off against Stringer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Prentiss Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Woodlawn Prep at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
