In what's become a running theme this season, the Gridley Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Oroville 59-29 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Gridley sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gridley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bikram Kullar, who scored eight points along with six steals and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kiko Castillo, who scored 15 points.
Despite the defeat, Oroville saw an underclassman step up: Kevin Taylor scored 13 points along with four steals.
Oroville struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Gridley racked up 16 assists.
Gridley's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Oroville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
Gridley will head out on the road to square off against Las Plumas at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oroville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Orland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
