Last Wednesday, Dobbs Ferry was able to grind out a solid victory over Barack Obama School for Social Justice, taking the game 66-53. Given Dobbs Ferry's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 174th, while Barack Obama School for Social Justice is ranked 444th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Yonkers Montessori Academy was the victim of a tough 53-28 loss at the hands of Hastings last Thursday.
Dobbs Ferry is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Yonkers Montessori Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
