The Boothbay Seahawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a rough 87-45 loss at the hands of Hall-Dale. Boothbay was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hall-Dale apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Luke Morley and Braden Davis certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Morley scored 13 points, while Davis scored eight points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season.
Boothbay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hall-Dale, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boothbay won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lisbon at 2:30 p.m. on December 16th. Lisbon comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Hall-Dale, they will head out on the road to face off against North Yarmouth Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
