Timberlake were able to grind out a solid victory over Rogers on Friday, winning 36-22.
The game started off well for Timberlake, whose offense put up 24 first-half points. Rogers came up with 6 to make it 24-6 heading into the break. Timberlake were outperformed in the second half 12-16 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The win bumped their record up to 3-1. Rogers are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Next week Timberlake take on St. Maries at 7:00 PM. St. Maries will need to watch out since Timberlake have now posted big point totals in their last three contests. Rogers will look to defend their home turf against University at 7:00 PM.
