Adding to the longest winning streak in 6A District 4 this week, Bartram Trail beat Ridgeview 37-21. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Bears.
Nease fell to Seabreeze 37-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Bartram Trail's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. PJ Blazejowski threw for 204 and 2 touchdowns and Karl Harris had 135 yards receiving. On the ground David Coleman contributed 107 yards. Peter Cotroneo helped Bartram Trail's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 22 yards.
Harris was the best wideout in the league this week as Darrell Sutherland's team beat the Panthers. Harris tallied 5 receptions for 135 yards. Cotroneo helped Bartram Trail's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 22 yards.
Bartram Trail's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bears feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Blazejowski has thrown for 1,594 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Romello Bentley has 40 catches for 505 yards.
Matanzas made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,242 from 8,660. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 34-24 victory over Atlantic last week.
