The Westside Wolves can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They blew past Lamar 62-31 on the road. The win was nothing new for Westside as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Neso Anisiobi was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ahmaiya Haulcy, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Lamar's loss came despite strong showings from Madison Tran and Madison Williams. Tran scored 11 points, while Williams scored five points along with four steals.
Westside is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Lamar, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
Westside will be playing in front of their home fans against Bellaire at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellaire is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Lamar, they will head out on the road to take on Westbury at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
