Chandler Prep had won three straight on the road, but  on Monday they bumped their record up to 16-5 to make it four. They walked away with  a   12-9  win over the Lincoln Prep Lightning. That's more bragging rights for the Titans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Dominic Steineke made a splash no matter where he played. He  pitched two innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   three  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with two  runs.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Emet Yates, who  got on base  in all five of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple.  Derek Tucker was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
As for Lincoln Prep, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11-1 record  this season. Their loss continues a  trend for the  team, making it three in a row.
 On Lincoln Prep's side, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Finn Dilley, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base. The Lightning are 5-2 when  Dilley posts two or  more  runs, but 4-9-1 otherwise.
