The Cypress Creek Bears were the 75-42 winner over the Lake Mary Rams when they last played one another back in January of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. Cypress Creek received a tough blow on Wednesday as they fell 48-34 to Lake Mary. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cypress Creek has scored all season.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jonathan Solide, who scored six points along with seven rebounds. Solide continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Ethan Nolan was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Cypress Creek has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Lake Mary, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cypress Creek is on the road again on Friday and play against Lake Nona at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. As for Lake Mary, they will take on Seminole at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Seminole is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
