Make it eight blowout wins for the Ballou Knights this season. They took their match on the road on Monday with ease, bagging a 65-35 win over Bard. The win was familiar territory for Ballou who now have three in a row.
Ballou was led to victory by Lorenzo Martin and Josiah GoMillion. Martin scored 14 points along with four steals, while GoMillion scored 19 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points GoMillion has scored all season. Samaud Benton-McDonald was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Bard's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kaemon McNeil, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three blocks, and Jalani Goldbolt who scored three points along with two steals. McNeil hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games.
Ballou is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Bard, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ballou will face off against the Clerks at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cardozo knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully the Knights like a good challenge. As for Bard, they will head out on the road to challenge the Ramblers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastern is on a three-game streak of home losses, the Falcons a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
