What's more, she posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs.
In other batting news, Doddridge County got a massive performance out of Olivia See, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs See has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Hadley Ross, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
Doddridge County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .760. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .303 or higher in seven consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, North Marion fell victim to Morgantown and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 7-0 to the Mohigans.
Doddridge County's victory bumped their record up to 23-4. As for North Marion, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.
