Memphis Central is a perfect 4-0 against Bolton since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Memphis Central's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while Bolton has been banged up by 14 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
On Saturday, Memphis Central got the win against Southwind by a conclusive 12-1. Considering the Warriors have won 12 matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Joshua Thurmon spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 16 Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Memphis Central let Orlando Jones and Beiker Leon run wild. Jones went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Leon got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Jones has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Patrick Ryan, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Bolton couldn't beat Fayette Ware on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. Bolton came up short against Fayette Ware, falling 19-4.
Bolton also got a good showing from Ibrahim Thiaw, who tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Memphis Central has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Bolton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Memphis Central has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .538. However, it's not like Bolton struggles in that department as they've averaged .500. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
