Adding to the longest winning streak in 7A District 15 this week, St. Thomas Aquinas beat Cypress Bay 35-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Raiders.
Plantation led the league in scoring this week after putting up 47 points on South Broward.
St. Thomas Aquinas' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Wade Freebeck threw for 150 yards and Jawuan Harris had 63 yards receiving. On the ground Madre London chipped in 119 yards. Devante Peete helped St. Thomas Aquinas' passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 67 yards.
Harris was the best receiver in the league this week as Rocco Casullo's team beat the Lightning. Harris tallied 4 receptions for 63 yards. Peete helped St. Thomas Aquinas' passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 67 yards.
St. Thomas Aquinas' offense cannot be tamed this season and the Raiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Freebeck has thrown for 990 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Corey Holmes has 16 catches for 283 yards.
As it stands, the Raiders are in first, while Hollywood Hills is in fourth.
