The Unatego Spartans can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 45-18 win over Walton. With Unatego ahead 30-8 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Despite the defeat, Walton saw an underclassman step up: Grace Walley scored five points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Walley hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games.
Unatego's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3. As for Walton, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.
Unatego will head out on the road to take on the at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Deposit-Hancock comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Walton, they will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Delaware Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Warriors in New York (the Bulldogs are ranked 166th, while the Warriors are ranked 388th).
