The Rockmart Yellowjackets won the last time they faced the Cedartown Bulldogs, and things went their way on Saturday too. Rockmart snuck past Cedartown with a 49-43 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Rockmart.
Analee Morris was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Hindmon, who scored five points along with 13 rebounds and five steals.
Rockmart has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Cedartown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.
Rockmart and Fannin County will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Fannin County is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Cedartown, they will challenge Sonoraville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sonoraville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cedartown in Georgia (Sonoraville is ranked 162nd, while Cedartown is ranked 369th).
