Grandview Heights took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Liberty Union Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bobcats have posted since September 10, 2024.

Grandview Heights was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (69-66), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Grandview Heights didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Grove City Christian on the 16th. As for Liberty Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against KIPP Columbus on the 16th.
