Quilcene won the last time they faced Crescent, and things went their way on Saturday, too. Quilcene made easy work of Crescent and carried off a 52-22 win. The success made it back-to-back wins for Quilcene.
Quilcene's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 44 points in the first half. Crescent came up with 6 to make it 44-6 heading into the break. Quilcene were outperformed in the second half 8-16 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The victory bumped their record up to 2-0. The loss dropped Crescent back to even at 1-1.
Quilcene are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Neah Bay next week at Neah Bay High School at 6:00 PM. Crescent will be defending their home turf for the first time when they go up against Lyle/Wishram at 2:00 PM.
