Round Mountain had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Pyramid Lake Lakers with a sharp 11-2 victory on Friday. Considering the Knights have won 15 contests by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Round Mountain's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Pyramid Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season.

Round Mountain didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-5 loss against Wells on the 16th. Pyramid Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
