Baseball Recap: All S Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

All S can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Cooper Dragons. The Saints' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Cooper's batters probably weren't too happy with Dylan Smith, who pitched a no hitter (he gave up nine walks).

On the hitting side, All S' win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Bryson Ford, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Ford has brought in this season. Another was Zeb Bannister, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

All S always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

All S' victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Cooper, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, All S will take on Westbury Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cooper, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Valley at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
