Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Uxbridge). Everything went their way against the Quaboag Regional Cougars on Thursday as they made off with a 25-3 win. The victory was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on five straight.
Uxbridge pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Quaboag Regional, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Uxbridge will challenge rival Grafton at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
