Hartford came tearing into Tuesday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Grafton Black Hawks as they made off with a 14-3 win. Considering the Orioles have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hartford's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Grafton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
