Putnam Valley managed to slip by Pawling the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Putnam Valley came up short against Pawling on Thursday, falling 18-5. Putnam Valley's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Braeden McCarty and Aaron Pierre did some serious damage despite the final result: McCarty went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double, while Pierre went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Putnam Valley's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Pawling, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2.
