Hayesville scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to the Coosa Eagles. If the Yellowjackets were looking for revenge after losing 64-62 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Coosa's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Reece Fuller led the charge by putting up 12 points and five rebounds. Fuller continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Timbaland Mitchell, who posted six points in addition to nine boards and three steals.

Hayesville is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. As for Coosa, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Hayesville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 91-69 loss against Polk County on the 30th. As for Coosa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-47 defeat against Murphy on the 30th.
