The Groom Tigers will be home for the holidays to greet the River Road Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Groom comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought contest, but Groom had to settle for a 43-40 loss against Sunray.
Meanwhile, River Road came up short against Sanford-Fritch on Friday and fell 51-39. River Road has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Groom's loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for River Road, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
Groom strolled past River Road when the teams last played back in December of 2021 by a score of 39-21. Does Groom have another victory up their sleeve, or will River Road turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
